Mike Kaye, Founder & Managing Director

Mike understands business better than most. He has three degrees, 25 years experience in myriad locations, organisations and sectors and a record of success driving major growth initiatives in senior corporate and consulting roles.

Mike’s Bachelor of Surveying, Master of Business (Management & Economics) and Master of Engineering Science complement each other, attest to his academic ability and underpin his diverse experience.

During a decade with the Royal Australian Engineer Corps, he attained the rank of Major, managed 120 engineers and worked with NASA on a space shuttle mission. Mike then joined Intergraph Corporation in Canberra, where he grew sales by 40% and reduced costs by 10% in his first year.

At Anderson Consulting in Sydney, he led organisational change and devised and managed business, technology, relationship management and market contestability strategies. As a Partner with Accenture in London, he grew sales by 35% and became European expert on B2B and industrial marketing while managing 70 consultants and $100 million in revenue.

Mike then moved to BOC in Sydney, where he grew the revenue of the South Pacific business by over 30% via his own growth agenda. Here he also led global growth strategy, JVs and acquisitions. Impressed, BOC put Mike in charge of OccCorp in Melbourne where, as Chairman and CEO, he transformed the business and ultimately led BOC’s 100% acquisition of the former JV.

Today Mike uses his formidable expertise to work with clients to increase their revenue and growth potential. His interests are family, football and travel.
